Friday's is not fine dining, It's a slightly slicker than a pub place for food and drinks. The menu is always under revision and they try to be what everyone wants. They are semi successful at that.
I rarely get my steak the way I order it, the apps are often too salty and not well thought out. The endless apps, which M loves dearly, has been pared down so much It's no longer interesting.
The drinks are over iced so you get less than expected. If you ask for light ice you Clearly see the drink actually fills the glass half way.
Why 4 stars? Service is great, staff are friendly and remember us and they have the best rewards program I've seen. Every dollar spent is one point, 80 points is a free burger, 100, free chicken entree, 120 free ribs or steak. I don't usually get it but every Friday's rewards member gets free chips and salsa. I'm sitting here now drinking my beer and waiting for my free bacon cheeseburger. The other chains offer a free dessert if I spend $75, this is way better. Awhile back they had a promo that gave me 1,000 points = 10 free dinners! Awesomness. -

My daughter and I had a dinner at TGI Fridays tonight for the first time ever. Started up with the spinach artichoke dip and it was good but there was absolutely not one piece of artichoke in our dip. We then had a cobb salad with chicken and a fish sandwich which came with a side of french fries. Everything was fine I enjoyed very much the two dollar happy hour draft beers.

"How bad could it be?"I said as my son and I walked in to grab some dinner. Well, I guess I found out...After passing on the usual bud, bud light, etc. I ordered a lagunitas, which apparently doesn't get requested often; mine was stale and starting to go flat. For food had fish & chips and bacon ranch chicken sandwich. The fish was three small frozen pieces fried to oblivion with fries that didn't taste particularly fresh. Shameful for the $13.50 price. The chicken sandwich was bland; missing the avocado; the roll was the best part.
In the end no sane person would chose to come back. Letting their standards go so far down, they have lost me for life. I would be so mad at myself if two years from now and went back, only to be disappointed again, when I knew better. -

I've been coming here for several years (maybe 4) at first, it used to be so good, the servers were always attentive. Now... it seems as if none of their staff cares. At all. Sometimes you will have to wait to be sat for 10-15 minutes (which I wouldn't mind if there was at least a host there telling us that there would be a wait instead of us waiting 10-15 minutes for a staff member to even notice customers at the front.) I dread coming here because of how the servers constantly disregard us and only check up on us to a)drop the food off or b) hand us a check and never check up on us to see if we'd like refills or etc. the quality in food has definitely gotten worse through the years as well... never coming back here and I suggest others to not go as well...
